The purpose of this announcement is for market research only. No solicitation will be posted at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs NCO 15 Contracting Office and St Louis VA Medical Center John Cochran Division, 915 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis MO. 63106, seeks capabilities information on interested vendors to provide AE Services for design completion for project 657-23-108JC FCA Replace Air Handler AC-1.
The responding interested offerors are requested to provide procurement capabilities from licensed professional architects and engineers currently registered in the state of Missouri or in a state of which Missouri has recognized the engineering license. The specific disciplines which will be evaluated are Architects, Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Industrial Hygienists, Estimators, CAD operators, Project Managers, LEED Consultant, Fire Protection Engineer, and Interior Designer at the medical center.
The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541310 Architectural Services and small business size standard of $8.0M. PSC: C211
Magnitude of Project between $250,000 and $500,000.
Project Intent:
A/E Firm shall provide all necessary design and construction period of services to replace Air Handler
AC-1 in Building 1 at John Cochran. Design team shall create a complete package of Construction
Documents to meet applicable design standards and building codes. Scope of work shall include, but
not limited to, the following items:
- Replace AC-1 and all associated supply and return ductwork, controls, and other heating and
cooling components.
- Replace failing VAV s located in histology lab, pathology lab, and associated areas of Building 1
2nd floor.
Responses must be received by 2:00 PM CST on November 29, 2022, via e-mail to the Contracting Officer at david.sterrett@va.gov. PLEASE REFERENCE "SOURCES SOUGHT: Project 657-23-108JC FCA Replace Air Handler AC-1." IN THE SUBJECT LINE. Respondents will not be contacted regarding their submission or information gathered because of this Sources Sought notice. Interested firms shall be required to respond to additional announcements separately from this announcement without further notice from the Government when posted to the Contract Opportunities website at https://sam.gov/.
