This notice is issued to inform all potential candidates to provide proposals at this time for the Replace Steam Traps and Underground Steam Lines
The Veterans Integrated Service Network #04 (VISN 04) Contracting Office / Altoona Veteran Administration Medical Center intends to issue a single, firm fixed-price contract for Construction Services related to the Replace Steam Traps and Under Ground Steam Lines construction project located at the Altoona VA Medical Center, 2907 Pleasant Valley Boulevard, Altoona, PA 16602. All construction must be in compliance with applicable codes, VA policy/standards, and the terms of this contract. The contractor shall provide all tools, travel, trades, labor, materials, permits, licenses and supervision for construction of the Replace Steam Traps and Under Ground Steam Lines construction project as specified in the drawings and specifications.
Proposals are due 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on April 17, 2023 in accordance with the attached solicitation.

Site Visit: A formal site visit is scheduled for this solicitation on March 24, 2023 at 10:00 am outside Building 2. See Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.236-27 for information.

This project is being solicited as a TOTAL 100 % SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220, with a small business size standard of $45.0 million in annual receipts for the past three years.

The Magnitude of Construction cost is between $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00.

There is one (1) Sole Source item as part of this solicitation and any resultant award. Sole Source Justification are attached to this solicitation.
