Program Manager, Engineer Systems (PM ES), Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is conducting market research for potential sources to purchase Multi-Terrain Loader replacements (MTLR). The MTLR will provide the Marine Corps with a more versatile, easily deployable, and scalable engineer capability. The MTLR will be a modified commercial item, simple to operate, easy to maintain and operationally tailored to meet individual organizational needs. Additionally, the rapid deployment and employment of the new system will ensure it keeps pace with the various unit operations. Tasks the MTLR will perform include preparing and filling craters on airfields and landing sites, filling in potholes, clearing/repairing drainage, lifting debris, loading aggregate required for construction repair, digging trenches for culverts, and rapid repair of existing roads.
