Description

The Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC), Salem, Virginia is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Renovate Patient Privacy Phase II project # 658-23-105. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Contractors.
The primary purpose of this project is to renovation of the H-Zone of the fourth floor of Salem VA Medical Center Building 143 for patient privacy. This area will be able to accommodate 20 patient rooms and associated support spaces. It is anticipated that the total renovation area will be approximately 20,755 sf. The project will involve a total renovation, to include but not limited to, demolition in a medical facility environment, mechanical and electrical upgrades, partition wall installation, security equipment installation, medical equipment installation, and interior finish installation.

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
