NATO HQ Supreme Allied Commander Transformation HQ SACT) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to engage industry in an examinaton of current and future capabilities related to Next Generation Modelling and Simulation (NexGen M&S).

This is the second and final RFI for theNexGen M&S capability program. If you responded to RFI #1, which was due 15 July 2022, you are encouraged to review your responses to provide additional and new information, particularly if you were missing the programming and cost related questions outlined in section 4.

If you did not respond to RFI #1, that is not a bar to responding to this RFI.

HQ SACT has not made a commitment to procure any of the systems, products, services, or technology described herein, and release of this RFI shall not be construed as such a commitment, nor as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement will be required or sought. Further, respondents are advised that HQ SACT will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this RFI. The costs for responding to this RFI shall be borne solely by the responding party. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any subsequent RFP, if issued in the future.

This in an RFI ONLY. This RFI DOES NOT constitute a current Request for Proposal (RFP) nor a commitment to issue a future RFP. HQ SACT is not seeking proposals at this time; therefore, HQ SACT will not accept unsolicited proposals in respect to this RFI

The RFI is attached. HQ SACT’s reference for this RFI is RFI-ACT-SACT-23-04, and all correspondence and submissions concerning the RFI should reference this number.

Do NOT submit your RFI response to the Department of Commerce. Please send your response to the HQ SACT officials identified on page 2 of the RFI. Responses must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. EST on 06 January 2023.

Inquiries of a technical nature about this RFI shall be submitted by e-mail solely to the aforementioned officials by 02 December 2022. Accordingly, questions in an e-mail shall not contain proprietary and/or classified information.
